Hunting for uke!Grimmjow fics made me realise how little there are on the net, and discussing fics recs with eloni only made it worse. So I ended up with this rant:

How hard can it be to write Grimmjow IC and uke? How many uke are there in the Japanese fandoms that are loud, energetic and always fighting like Grimmjow? I mean seriously?!

This is so bad we reached the point where I want to see all the cliché used in fanfics for Ichigo used on Grimmjow in return. Just to balance things out, you know. Take a look at those examples, which I found to be recurrent in the fandom:

1) Grimmjow gets in heat or mating season and rapes the hell out of Ichigo. WTF people? Ichigo is part hollow too, maybe you could switch them around! I don’t mean to have Ichigo rape Grimmjow, but try having Hollow!Ichigo do the chasing for once. I bet it would unsettle Grimmjow AND bring some originality to the fandom.

2) Same plot as the above, but with Ichigo getting pregnant (trust me, the amount of fics falling in that category is surprising, the same apply for female!Ichigo fics). Once again, try switching them ('cos I wouldn't mind seeing more mothercat!Grimm XD). Or use Ulquiorra or Aizen on Grimmjow if you can’t bring yourself to write Ichigo as a seme, but just stop writing the same thing over and over again. Note: I'm pointing this one out because I personally don't mind mpreg, I'm very open-minded. I know that this is a sensitive topic for many writers as, and I agree completely, good mpreg fics are very rare unless they are written for humorous purpose.

3) How many times have we seen Ichigo get captured and turned into an arrancar or otherwise getting abused by Aizen/the arrancars etc? Why not have Grimmjow captured by the shinigami for once? I found very little fics with that plot, surprisingly.

4) I’ve read a few fics making use of Grimmjow’s likeness with cats. So why not use the fact that wild animals bow to the will of the strongest? I haven’t seen it before and while I know Grimmjow refused to bow to Aizen in canon, I’m pretty sure bowing to Ichigo wouldn’t be the same thing for him. Cats don’t like being forced, and we know Ichigo could prove himself to be stronger without humiliating Grimmjow like Aizen did. Think about it. If anyone can make the Sexta soften a bit and stay IC without going into the realm of abuse, it’s Ichigo.

And I’m spent. I’m aware I got a bit carried away but I had to get this off my chest.

When you see that 9 fics out of 10 are about rapist!Grimmjow and you have actually reached the point where you are afraid to read a fanfic because you are 99% sure you will be disappointed, you get easily pissed off. So much actually, that I really want to start a challenge or something at this point, just to see people actually produce some IC uke!Grimmjow work.

I swear, it's always about Grimmjow being a rapist. WTF people. I know he is supposed to be one of the bad guys, but geez! He proved that he had some sense of honour in battle so I think, maybe, that this portrayal of him could be dropped off for a bit

Seriously.

I bet Ichigo has had enough by now.

Time for another amv!

Done because I've been feeling very inspired lately for some reasons and I finally figured out how to upload my amv in HD.

This amv was mainly done to practice effects on Sony Vegas and getting more familiar with certain functions I haven't used often before, so there is not much of a story but basically the first part corresponds to Ichigo's pov, while the second part of the song is Grimmjow's.
